Graduate Success Story: Brooke Vitatoe

At Keune Academy by 124, we’re always celebrating the successes of our students! We wanted to highlight one of our graduates who is now a full-time stylist in downtown Athens, Georgia. Learn more about her story to see yourself in the beauty industry!

A Little About Brooke

Brooke graduated from Keune Academy by 124 early January 2019 from our hair design program and got her license in May. She chose a school close to home, as she grew up in Lawrenceville, Georgia with her family. After graduation, she moved to Athens, Georgia after finding her career at PAGEBOY hair salon in downtown Athens for her new career.

Where Her Passion for Beauty Came From

Everyone has a different reason for entering beauty, and Brooke says she had a passion for hair since she was young. She knew it was something she aspired to do. As now that she’s part of the industry, her favorite part about working as a stylist is that she loves making people feel great about themselves everyday!

Another aspect of the beauty industry Brooke loves is how much it is always growing. She says that it’s exciting to know there are always ways to educate yourself more with new trends and techniques!
